This is a large Ableton-specific midi controller that works with Ableton Live 9 or later. Because of the tight integration, the hardware can accomplish most of the functionality of Ableton in one controller. There are a few videos on Youtube that showcase its abilities. It's been a lot of fun absorbing all that this controller has to offer, especially thanks to Josh Spoon's excellent Youtube series, 30 Days of Ableton Push. It has helped greatly in getting up to speed. Most importantly the Push allows you to play music rather than stare at a screen, which stimulates creativity and makes it interesting to continue playing and learning. The Push lets you play things you couldn't play on a piano keyboard, but the creative process is different, so the kind of music you make with the two types of controllers can sound very different.
