Oddly enough, since Samick is not a highly regarded name, this is an amazing guitar. I picked it up in 93, for about 900$ when in Vegas. I loved the way it looked, but didn't really bond with it, till years later. Seriously, I have no idea what I was thinking, not liking it so much, but the end result is a 20 year old guitar that is absolutely pristine, plays incredibly well, sounds fantastic, stays in tune forever, even with hard trem use, and is extremely rare.
Samick put out this series for a very short time, each one had a unique finish, and they rivaled any high end guitars out there. They were made on the same line as high end guitars, since the Samick factory produced about 80% of all guitars made back then..
It's a shame that Samick stopped making these, they really are phenomenal.
