This was an old no-named LP copy, maybe even a kit guitar. Needed new frets, but a neck was cheaper. New hardware & P-90's from Guitar Fetish and it's ready to rock harder.
Sanded the old finish down & used Krylon chalkboard paint from a can. I think I came out pretty fun.
August 1st, 2002 - Big show at the American Music Café in Murrysville. AiXeLsyD & a bunch of other bands opened for Graves (the first post-Misfits group for Michale Graves & Dr. Chud). There are a ton of Fiends & AiXeLkyDz in the crowd. It was a good show, lineup included An-Die Dyslexic, ERiC AiXeLsyD, Ben Backwards & Boner.
Demo of my Chalkboard LP Copy through the following setup:Ran it into a Planet Waves tuner, out to a Y-splitter cable. One end went into an Ernie Ball wah then into a Fender Blues Jr. The other end went straight into an Orange Micro Terror rockin' a Laney 2x12. It has GFS P90's in the bridge & neck.
