This is my go to guitar right now (although it isn't my favorite one). I purchased it used a few years ago, and I've never really put it down. It's an american tele, and it does what a tele should do. I prefer the maple neck and the "grease-bucket" tone circuit (tone knob rolls off highs, but doesn't add bass) on the highway one series. Whenever I play the bridge pickup through an overdriven amp for rhythm I roll the tone knob down to an 8 to take remove some of the brightness. That feature alone makes it the best tele I've ever played, at least for my style.
