Hi I'm Bill, I'm a guitar tech, amp builder, teacher, and player from Western Mass. I run a very small custom amp company called CurranTone and am in an"Alternative Blues/Rock" band called Esperanto. I'm an LP/Marshall guy for the most part but love all kinds of guitars and amps. Just stumbled upon this site recently, it's probably the coolest site ever!

My band: EsperantoOfficial.com

My custom tube amp company: CurranTone.com

CurranTone Wah #1 Custom Prototyping Wah

This is the first wah I built from scratch. I loaded it up with every mod I had parts and room for! The idea was something my customers could try and play around with, then I could check their settings and build them one that sounds how they like it.

    1967 Sunn Spectrum II 60watt KT88 Amp

I bought it not working and "restored" and added a few useful mods. Pretty cool.

    1978 Gibson Les Paul Custom

This is my baby, a 1978 Gibson Les Paul Custom, made during the Norlin era. It has a 3-piece maple neck with a huge volute which is awesome and keeps it in tune better than a regular LP. Nothing on it is original, the bridge pickup is a Gibson Burstbuker #3, the neck pickup is a Duncan Antiquity 8.74k upside down.

    Soldano SLO-100

My old Soldano I picked up years ago. Has factory "depth" mod and FX loop delete. Absolutely the best amp I've ever owned.

    Spirit War by Esperanto

My band, Esperanto, this is our only wah song and also the first one to get on the Locals Only segment on Lazer 99.3 on the radio! It's pretty much the only tune I use the wah on, other than a few other random solos when I feel like it.
