1970-something Gibson Les Paul

This picture is kind of deceiving. It has more dings in it than Bonnie and Clyde’s Ford and most of the finish is completely down to the wood on the back. Wrong pickups, wrong knobs, wrong nut, five faded gold tuners and one chrome one. Oh yeah, the headstock was once snapped off and re-glued back on. Still… the best playing and sounding guitar I own! :)

    Thanks, but I don't think that works here...that would make it built in 1913 :) Those who have looked at it say construction methods indicate 70's to them but as the original electronics are long gone there's not way to really pin it down.

    Nice! If you want to figure out the year, take a look at the serial number on the back of the headstock. Put the 1st and 5th numbers together to give you the last two digits of the year. 19xx
