GK NEO II

Posted on April 24, 2016

When it comes to bass cabs, GK runs at the head of the pack (they've been doing this for a while, now). They've built the Neo 212-II with two beefy 12" cast-frame neodymium woofers - and a secret weapon: their horn bi-amp system. Either bi-amped or run full-range, this amazing-sounding enclosure dishes out solid low end and defined mids and highs. And a maximum sound pressure level of 129dB gives the Neo 212-II genuine SPL bragging rights.

Hows's the build quality? GK-tough. Lightweight poplar construction with custom-interlocking corners keep weight down and roadworthiness high. Neo series enclosures include special bracing to eliminate standing waves and provide firm structural support. This reduces cabinet resonance - giving your sound presence, definition, and projection. So if you want to move serious air onstage (but don't have three roadies), you owe it to yourself to check out the Gallien-Krueger Neo 212-II bass cabinet.
