This guitar is a Univox phase 3 hilfier from about 1976. these are awesome sounding ,lightweight guitars with a super thin neck and really good sounding humbuckers. i'm not much of a mosrite fan but these guitars do the trick for me (as long as they have the clear topped humbuckers and jag style trem.These pickups actually sound closer to a filter tron or something -sort of open and airy with some hair on the top end.

i've owned several of these guitars over the years and this is the first one i've seen without stress cracks around the neck pocket - this one had been really mistreated when i got it (it was literally in pieces) but now that it's all back together and everything is dialed in, it's a great looking,playing and sounding guitar.
