This is something of a fun kind of thing I did. It is a standard OLD Music Man 5 string. Well sort of.. The custom paint was done in a small shop in Milwaukee, WI for me. It features a Steal Your Face Grateful Dead logo on the back. On the front features my nick name "The Shadow" and on the headstock is "Aceto Guitars #1"... This bass features a beautiful orange kind of summer sunset feel to the paint. All hand done. It also features Wilkenson passive pickups for a very vintage vibe. Complete with coil splits and off/on switches for each pickup.. I bought this bass from Musicians Friend when they closed out the old OLP line. Picked it up brand new shipped for $150.. Cost of parts were another maybe $100 since I took my time and shopped for them.. Got the paint for free when I traded an old Harmony acoustic I had sitting around.
