This guitar gets some serious crunch. It has a darker tone with a sharp attack and is excellent for all chugga-chugga music. It has a pearl inlay that runs the outside perimeter of the body, unlike some other Schecter guitars that feature the inlay on the face of the guitar. It looks great, but if you don't clean it up once in awhile the pearl inlay can yellow a bit. I like the feel and the spacing of the frets, the only inconvenience for me in that the white fret markers along the side of the neck are obscured by the pearl inlay that runs the length of the neck up to the headstock. It's a minor issue but I do use them sometimes and find myself getting momentarily lost. Still, it is a very solid quality guitar and had absolutely no flaws from the factory. Among my three guitars, I would place the quality and tone at #2 after the Strat but in front of the Agile 3100 (which still sounds great).
