Fender 112 Deluxe

Posted on May 10, 2013

Solid state Fender with one 12" speaker and two channels. This was my first real amp but it lasted me a long time, because it's loud enough to play anything but the largest clubs. It has good clean Fender tone for a solid state and can get into metal territory in the dirty channel. However it does suffer from some breakup if you push the overdrive too hard at the highest volumes with a humbucker. Overall I am fond enough of this amp that I keep it around 13 years after I bought it, it's a solid amp for a guest guitarist.

When my old Marshall was on the fritz, Neil graciously let me borrow this amp for a show at a huge venue in downtown Indianapolis. This amp is insanely loud. It pissed the sound guy off something fierce, but I loved it.

This amp has an amazing amount of volume for its size!
